We are looking for a Retail Party Specialist to work within our fun and fast paced boutique party shop in Richmond, Melbourne. (A retail assistant role with a little bling because this isn’t an ordinary role!) If you are an experienced retail professional, love cakes, balloons, children, helping others create super stylish parties, party hustle and small business then this role might be just for you.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients

  • Telephone enquiries

  • Taking simple balloon orders

  • Inflating balloons

  • Stock control

  • Merchandising

  • Unpacking stock orders

  • General housekeeping

  • assisting clients to create stylish on-trend parties

Essential skills and attributes

  • Min 2 years retail experience

  • Strong passion for customer service

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Monday and Saturday availability

  • School holiday availability

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Desired skills and attributes:

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Time management

  • Efficiency

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Problem solving

The position is a casual role reporting direct to the owners, most likely spread over 3 days. Availability 09.00-14.00 is essential with an immediate start available. Work in a beautiful newly built shop space bringing joy and happiness to those you serve!
